Welcome to Ashby CE Primary School
Welcome to Ashby Church of England Primary School’s website we hope you will find it welcoming and helpful.
Ashby Church of England Primary School is situated in the heart of the National Forest in Ashby de la Zouch. We aim to provide all our children with an exciting start to their education in a school which cares, guides, stimulates and supports everyone in our school community. We have high standards of expectation in both work and behaviour which is reflected in our end of Key Stage results and our current Ofsted grading of Good. Our staff and Governors are dedicated in aiming for all of our children to achieve the very best they can in all aspects of their lives.
As a Church of England School we have excellent links with our local church, Holy Trinity and our vicar Rev Tim Phillips. Our Church of England status adds to the caring ethos of our school community, which welcomes everyone regardless of faith.
Our school currently has 290 pupils on role which we organise into four teams; Foundation Stage, Year 1 and 2, Year 3 and 4 and Year 5 and 6. Our curriculum is designed to enable our children to see the links between subjects in a practical, fun and relevant way with a focus on basic skills in literacy and maths.
If you are interested in choosing our school for your child, or have any queries, then we would encourage you to come and visit us. Please contact the school office to make an appointment.
If you can think of any other information that would be useful on this website then please contact the school office on firstname.lastname@example.org
