Macmillan Coffee Morning
On Thursday 26th September, we held a Macmillan Coffee morning. Thank you so much for everyone who came and supported this event and helped us raise £356.03 to this incredibly worthwhile charity with your kind donations for biscuits and a cuppa. The biscuits were absolutely delicious and in my current state, there was no guilt in sampling as many as humanly possible!
This year’s Harvest Festival was a huge success, so many parents and friends of the school joined us for what was a lovely service at Holy Trinity. We collected £127.42 for Guide Dogs for the Blind, our children’s charity chosen by our Foundation children, and were inundated with donations of produce for Ashby Foodbank, almost two car loads were delivered to the foodbank! Thank you so much for your generous contributions.
Dinner Supervisor Appointments
At the end of this week, we will be saying a fond farewell to Mrs Mason who is off to pastures new. We wish her all the best and thank her for everything she has done over the last 10 years. I’m please to inform you that we have recruited a further two lunchtime supervisors, Mrs Pollard & Ms Hill-McKenzie who will be joining the team shortly.

Please start collecting all your copper coins for the petals, silver coins for the stems, and gold coins for the centre. Children are welcome to come to school dressed in Beavers, Rainbows, Brownie, Guide, Cub and Scout uniforms to mark Remembrance.
Children in Need
On Friday 15th November we will be holding events in school to support Children in Need, including a visit from Pudsey himself! We are asking that children come to school that day dressed in as many spots as possible and donate £1 to Children in Need. The School Council will also be running events during the day.
