£ 26000 |
To reduce class sizes in year 5 and 6, allowing more focussed teacher time on those pupils who are disadvantaged / vulnerable to increase attainment and progress. Year 6 targets of 80% at ARE ( secondary ready) in reading and writing and 100%in maths |
We did not meet the challenging targets we set ourselves ( results- 50% ARE in reading, 60% in writing and maths) however the progress made by these pupils was very good with 80% making expected progress in reading, 100% in writing and 90% in maths during 2016/17. Year 6 pupils’ progress from KS1 to KS2 was less. For some pupils, the combination of SEND , mobility and vulnerability resulted in some individual low progress for the key stage as a whole. |

£2300 |
