There is no longer a legal requirement for people with coronavirus (COVID-19) infection to self-isolate, however if you have any of the main symptoms of COVID-19 or a positive test result, the public health advice is to stay at home and avoid contact with other people.
Please be vigilant and if you suspect your child has Covid and they are displaying symptoms particularly a high temperature in addition to the usual coughs and colds this time of year then please ensure they remain at home until their temperature returns to normal. If you do decided to test your child and they are positive then current advise is they should isolate for 3 days.
