Read, Write, Inc. Phonics Meeting for current Foundation stage parents/carers

We would like to invite you to a meeting about the Read, Write Inc. phonics scheme that will be taught daily to your child. During the meeting we will model some of the teaching methods that we use along with an explanation of the key points and terminology that will enable you to have a clear insight into how your child is learning and how you can support your child at home. We will also explain how we read with children in school and what reading books your child will bring home. We will, of course, be there to answers any questions you may have.

The meeting will be on Friday 29th September at 2.30pm in the school hall.

Learning to read is the key to your child’s education and parental support is vital. For this reason we would encourage you to come along to the meeting to find out more about the scheme.

Please return reply slip (below) to school by Friday 22nd September if you are attending and please indicate how many people will be attending.
