School Food

Menus from 1st April 2025

(3 week rotation, dates detailed on menus)

The cost of a school meal will increase on 1st April 2025 to £2.75. Payment in advance should be made via Parentpay which can be accessed from the ParentPay link displayed on the website. If you do not have your log-in details please contact the school office. 

Hot dinners can be ordered on the day, the children will be asked during registration each morning if they are having a hot dinner or a packed lunch.

A vegetarian option is available to those children whose parents have informed the school office that meat cannot be eaten because they are vegetarians or for religious reasons. This is applicable to all children throughout the school

Special Menu/Medical Diets

For those children who require a sepcial menu for medical reasons parent will need to contact School Food Service directly.  They will be able to advise you on the process of getting a special menu in place.

Due to the ammount of meals served we can't accomodate special menus based on food preference.

As a team we work tirelessly to produce food of a high standard for the children at our school who choose to have a school dinner. The meals along with bread, cakes and biscuits are all made daily from scratch (with the exception of muffins). 

All meals are produced with fresh ingredients which are locally sourced by Leicestershire Traded Services and a lot of time and thought is given to the menus by specialist dieticians.

On the very rare occasions that the menu has to be changed, we will always notify the school first.

We produce in excess of 350 meals everyday (we also cater for 2 other local schools) and are very proud of the food we serve.

We remain very keen to provide an open door policy and welcome any feedback or concerns you may have.
