The cost of a school meal will increase on 1st April 2024 to £2.65. Payment in advance should be made via Parentpay which can be accessed from the ParentPay link displayed on the website. If you do not have your log-in details please contact the school office.
Hot dinners can be ordered on the day, the children will be asked during registration each morning if they are having a hot dinner or a packed lunch.
A vegetarian option is available to those children whose parents have informed the school office that meat cannot be eaten because they are vegetarians or for religious reasons. This is applicable to all children throughout the school

As a team we work tirelessly to produce food of a high standard for the children at our school who choose to have a school dinner. The meals along with bread, cakes and biscuits are all made daily from scratch (with the exception of muffins).
All meals are produced with fresh ingredients which are locally sourced by Leicestershire Traded Services and a lot of time and thought is given to the menus by specialist dieticians.
On the very rare occasions that the menu has to be changed, we will always notify the school first.
We produce in excess of 350 meals everyday (we also cater for 2 other local schools) and are very proud of the food we serve.
We will shortly start posting and tweeting some photos of the kitchen area and food to give you an insight into what goes on in the kitchen and what the children are eating. Any photos of the prepared dinners will be taken at the start of service which means it will show a KS1 portion, also children do have two pudding options or fruit or yoghurt so the pudding shown may vary from what your child has chosen that day.
