Travel Insurance for School Trips 2022
Following disruptions to travel and subsequently travel insurance since the Covid pandemic began the insurance team at Leicestershire County Council have been trying to source the most suitable cover available to schools. They are still hoping to secure an annual policy but in the interim have been able to find suitable insurers who can provide cover on a trip by trip basis.

Points to note:
The policy excludes claims where individuals have been told to isolate due to being identified as a close contact of comeone with Covid.
There is no cover if the Government decides to stop all travel in the UK.
Claims for cancellation and curtailment will incur a £50 excess per claimant.
